Commit 8fcf0ec44c11f "bnx2x: Add FW 7.13.11.0" added said .bin FW to
linux-firmware; This patch incorporates the FW in the bnx2x driver.
This introduces few FW fixes and the support for Tx VLAN filtering.
Please consider applying it to 'net-next' tree.

There were no missing endianness conversions in this case, but the
fields of struct cfc_del_event_data should be defined as little-endian
to get rid of the ugly (__force __le32) casts.

When a VF is sending a message to the PF, it needs to trigger the PF
to tell it the message is ready.
The trigger did not work on ppc64. No interrupt appeared in the PF.
The bug is due to confusion about the layout of struct trigger_vf_zone.
In bnx2x_send_msg2pf() the trigger is written using writeb(), not
writel(), so the attempt to define the struct with a reversed layout on
big-endian is counter-productive.

bnx2x crashes during the initialization of the 8021q module on ppc64.
The bug is a missing conversion from le32 in
bnx2x_handle_classification_eqe() when obtaining the cid value from
struct eth_event_data.
The fields in struct eth_event_data should all be declared as
little-endian and conversions added where missing.

Commit 46e8a249423ff "bnx2x: Add FW 7.13.1.0" added said .bin FW to
linux-firmware; This patch incorporates the FW in the bnx2x driver.
This introduces 2 fixes/enhancements:
- In some management protocols there are outer-vlan configurations
that can be dynamically changed while device is running. This fixes
some corner cases where such a change did not take effect.
- Prevent VFs from sending MAC control frames; FW would treat a VF
sending such a packet as malicious and block any further communication
done by the VF.

Devices with up-to-date management FW will be able to store register dumps
on their persistent storage - in case management FW identifies a fatal
error it would gather and store such dumps, which could later be retrieved
using specific debug tools.
This patch adds the necessary part in the driver in order to make the
feature operational, as well as update users [under debug] during load
in case their device contains a dump of a previous crash.

This moves bnx2x into using 7.12.30 FW. Said firmware fixes the following:
- Packets from a VF with pvid configured which were sent with a
different vlan were transmitted instead of being discarded.
- FCoE traffic might not recover after a failue while there's traffic
to another function.
In addition, this FW opens the door for the driver to implement several
new features; Specifically, this enhances the device's support for
encapsulated packets and will allow vxlan/geneve offloads to be added in
the future, as well as vlan filtering offload.

When using new Multi-function modes it's possible that due to incompatible
configuration management FW will fallback into an existing mode.
Notice that at the moment this fallback is exactly the same as the already
existing switch-independent multi-function mode, but we still use existing

This new firmware fixes following bugs:
1. HW attention appears and traffic stops when iSCSI firmware tries to
retransmit iSCSI login command when the iSCSI login is carrying data
not aligned to 4-bytes.
2. FCoE traffic fails to run when running in switch-independent multi-function
mode and there's more than one interface supporting FCoE on a given port.
3. While two ports are running FCoE with at least one of them has a function
number (>1) on the same engine in a 4-port device a zeroed CQE is given,
causing FCoE traffic to stop.

As part of the previous unload flow, probed devices will reset the chip
in order to clean the remains of the UNDI driver.
As a result, it's possible for the FW to toggle the link.
This toggling can prove fatal, as long periods without link can cause the
filesystem mount to fail as the storage protocol timeouts. This has been
observed against particular switches with long link re-establishment time.
This patch informs FW during the reset period that the link should not
be toggled - the FW will keep it alive until some interface will load and claim
the link as its own.

When drivers works on top of an old bootcode, it is theoretically subjected to
MDC/MDIO failures since the MDIO clock is set in the beginning of each sequence,
rather than per CL45 command. On rare cases an old bootcodes may change that in
the middle, so to address that, the MDIO clock is set for each CL45 access.
In addition, setting the MDIO clock is now done per EMAC base, and
not per port number, since a specific port can potentially use both EMACs for
different PHY accesses.

This patch moves the bnx2x and cnic drivers into using FW 7.8.2
which was recently submitted into the linux-firmware tree.
A short summary of minor bugs fixed by this FW:
1. In switch dependent mode, fix several issues regarding inner vlan
vs. DCB priorities.
2. iSCSI - not all packets were completed on a forward channel.
3. DCB - fixed for 4-port devices.
4. Fixed false parity reported in CAM memories when operating near -5%
on the 1.0V core supply.
5. ETS default settings are set to fairness between traffic classes
(rather than strict priority), and uses the same chip receive buffer
configuration for both PFC and pause.
For a complete list of fixes made by this FW, see commit 236367db
in the linux-firmware git repository.

Various flows in the bnx2x driver cause a link-flap - if the link
is up, it would be toggled down (after a mac/phy reset) and then
taken back up.
In many of these cases, there is no need to do cause such a flap,
as the associated flows should not actually affect the link.
This patch adds the 'Link Flap Avoidance' mechanism, which allows
the driver to better determine if a given flow requires a link change,
and thus minimize the number of link flaps caused by the driver.
