2021-03-06tools headers UAPI: Update tools' copy of linux/coresight-pmu.hArnaldo Carvalho de Melo
To get the changes in these commits: 88f11864cf1d1324 ("coresight: etm-perf: Support PID tracing for kernel at EL2") 53abf3fe83175626 ("coresight: etm-perf: Clarify comment on perf options") This will possibly be used in patches lined up for v5.13. And silence this perf build warning: Warning: Kernel ABI header at 'tools/include/linux/coresight-pmu.h' differs from latest version at 'include/linux/coresight-pmu.h' diff -u tools/include/linux/coresight-pmu.h include/linux/coresight-pmu.h Cc: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org> Cc: Leo Yan <leo.yan@linaro.org> Cc: Mathieu Poirier <mathieu.poirier@linaro.org> Cc: Mike Leach <mike.leach@linaro.org> Cc: Suzuki K Poulose <suzuki.poulose@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo <acme@redhat.com>
2019-04-25coresight: etm4x: Add kernel configuration for CONTEXTIDMathieu Poirier
Set the proper bit in the configuration register when contextID tracing has been requested by user space. That way PE_CONTEXT elements are generated by the tracers when a process is installed on a CPU. 2017-08-28perf: cs-etm: Fix ETMv4 CONFIGR entry in perf.data fileMike Leach
The value passed into the perf.data file for the CONFIGR register in ETMv4 was incorrectly being set to the command line options/ETMv3 value. Adds bit definitions and function to remap this value to the correct ETMv4 CONFIGR bit values for all selected options. 2017-08-28coresight: pmu: Adds return stack option to perf coresight pmuMike Leach

2016-08-23tools: Copy coresight-pmu.h header file needed by perf toolsMathieu Poirier
Directly accessing kernel files is not allowed anymore. As such making file coresight-pmu.h accessible by the perf tools and complain if this copy strays from the one found in the main kernel tree.
