2021-06-27clk: st: clkgen-fsyn: embed soc clock outputs within compatible dataAlain Volmat
In order to avoid relying on the old style description via the DT clock-output-names, add compatible data describing the flexgen outputs clocks for all STiH407/STiH410 and STiH418 SOCs. In order to ease transition between the two methods, this commit introduce the new compatible without removing the old method. Once DTs will be fixed, the method relying on DT clock-output-names will be removed from this driver as well as old compatibles. 2020-07-16clk: st: Remove uninitialized_var() usageKees Cook
Using uninitialized_var() is dangerous as it papers over real bugs[1] (or can in the future), and suppresses unrelated compiler warnings (e.g. "unused variable"). If the compiler thinks it is uninitialized, either simply initialize the variable or make compiler changes. The kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kcalloc(). This patch replaces cases of: kzalloc(a * b, gfp) with: kcalloc(a * b, gfp) as well as handling cases of: kzalloc(a * b * c, gfp) with: kzalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp) as it's slightly less ugly than: kzalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp) This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like: kzalloc(4 * 1024, gfp) though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion. Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were dropped, since they're redundant.
