Convert the PM documents to ReST, in order to allow them to
build with Sphinx.
The conversion is actually:
- add blank lines and indentation in order to identify paragraphs;
- fix tables markups;
- add some lists markups;
- mark literal blocks;
- adjust title markups.
At its new index.rst, let's add a :orphan: while this is not linked to
the main index.rst file, in order to avoid build warnings.

The default hibernation image size is currently hard coded and euqal
to 500 MB, which is not a reasonable default on many contemporary
systems. Make it equal 2/5 of the total RAM size (this is slightly
below the maximum, i.e. 1/2 of the total RAM size, and seems to be
generally suitable).

The name of 'struct pm_ops' suggests that it is related to the power
management in general, but in fact it is only related to suspend. Moreover,
its name should indicate what this structure is used for, so it seems
reasonable to change it to 'struct platform_suspend_ops'. In that case, the
name of the global variable of this type used by the PM core and the names of
related functions should be changed accordingly.

Change /sys/power/disk to display all valid modes as well as the currently
selected one in a fashion known from the LED subsystem.
This changes userspace API, but it is apparently not used much (we asked
some userspace developers)

This patch removes the firmware disk suspend mode which is the wrong approach,
it is supposed to be used for implementing firmware-based disk suspend but
cannot actually be used for that.

Add a swsusp debugging mode. This does everything that's needed for a suspend
except for actually suspending. So we can look in the log messages and work
out a) what code is being slow and b) which drivers are misbehaving.
(1)
# echo testproc > /sys/power/disk
# echo disk > /sys/power/state
This should turn off the non-boot CPU, freeze all processes, wait for 5
seconds and then thaw the processes and the CPU.
(2)
# echo test > /sys/power/disk
# echo disk > /sys/power/state
This should turn off the non-boot CPU, freeze all processes, shrink
memory, suspend all devices, wait for 5 seconds, resume the devices etc.

Add the pm_trace attribute in /sys/power which has to be explicitly set to
one to really enable the "PM tracing" code compiled in when CONFIG_PM_TRACE
is set (which modifies the machine's CMOS clock in unpredictable ways).

Make the suspend image size limit tunable via /sys/power/image_size.
It is necessary for systems on which there is a limited amount of swap
available for suspend. It can also be useful for optimizing performance of
swsusp on systems with 1 GB of RAM or more.

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.
Let it rip!
