2009-08-18LCD_DEPTH == 2, vertical packing: specify if lcd framebuffer is in iram into ↵Rafaël Carré
the model specific config file git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@22400 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2009-05-29Remove an old safety making sure that people re-ran configure after the ↵Frank Gevaerts
h120/h100 split. People now have had nearly four years to do so, which is probably enough git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@21129 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2009-05-04Make JPEG and BMP scaler optional with HAVE_JPEG and HAVE_BMP_SCALING, both ↵Andrew Mahone
defined for all targets that have HAVE_ALBUMART. Disable JPEG in PictureFlow and pluginlib album art search with 32KiB plugin buffer until PictureFlow gets overlay support. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@20851 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2009-02-11Fix no-backlight colours for H100 series and M3.Jens Arnold
git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@19970 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2009-02-09Put the display colours for monochrome and greyscale targets into the target ↵Jens Arnold
config files, and use them both for the simulator UI and screendumps. The Clip now shows the split display properly in screendumps and simulator. A side effect is that screendumps of ordinary monochrome targets are now 4-bit BMP files (saves an alternate code path, and might be more compatible with some gfx programs). * Simplify the simulation of split display, and also simplify greylib simulation. The simulator now always calculates 129 shades (2*128 for a Clip sim), and just uses 2 (or 4) of those for native display simulation. * Centralised the simulator LCD dimension definition. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@19950 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2009-01-26Commit FS#9724, which reworks the preprocessor defines related to backlight ↵Thomas Martitz
fading to a CONFIG_BACKLIGHT_FADING style. The apps/ code will only see which setting is supposed to be used, specific backlight fading handling is kept in firmware, slightly reword the manual text about software fading too with regards to the Gigabeat S git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@19860 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2008-12-24H10 can distinguish USB and MAIN charger input so return proper flags. H100s ↵Michael Sevakis
were misconfigured and should use CHARGING_SIMPLE. Comment more on what charging types mean in config.h. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@19582 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2008-12-24Simplify powermgmt thread loops so it calls functions turn (no more ↵Michael Sevakis
power_thread_sleep). Do other target-friendly simplifications, generic battery switch handling and split sim-specific code. Whoever can, please verify charging on the Archos Recorder (due to change in the charger duty cycle code). git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@19579 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2008-10-19Codec memory reorganizationNils Wallménius
Based on a patch by Tomasz Malesinski * Merge Codec buffer and Malloc buffer into one large buffer. * The new merged buffer is now 1MB on targets with lots of memory. * Renamed codec_get_memory to codec_get_buffer and made it behave more. like plugin_get_buffer. * Bumped Codec api and min api versions. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@18834 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2008-02-09Prepare for a new bootloader 7-pre4 release for iriver H100 series. Synced ↵Miika Pekkarinen
to work properly with SVN, and hopefully fixed remote detection problem and audio thump for some users. Also pure H100/H115 should be supported now. Actual bootloaders will be released separately. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@16252 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2007-11-11Album art support. Based on FS#3045, but heavily modified to adapt to MoB ↵Nicolas Pennequin
and for cleanness. The cover pictures are loaded from external bitmaps. JPEG and embedded art are not supported. The pictures will only be drawn on the main display. There is no resizing but it is possible to specify the WPS bitmap size in the bitmap names (e.g. cover.100x100.bmp). The bitmaps are stored in the main buffer and read directly from there. Currently, duplicate bitmaps will simply be present several times in the buffer, but this will be improved. To enable for a target, #define HAVE_ALBUMART in its config file. For more information, see the wiki page: http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/AlbumArt. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@15572 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2007-08-17First step of powermanagement rework: * Move target specific stuff into ↵Jens Arnold
target tree, starting with battery voltage tables and voltage reading. (This revealed some incorrect percent_to_voltage_charging mappings). * Voltage reading on 1st gen ipods is now correct. * Clean up obsolete config #defines. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@14375 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2007-08-12Enable a lot more features for simulators and add stubs where necessary, ↵Nils Wallménius
simulators should now work with identical lng and voice files as the respective target git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@14299 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2007-05-20Use bitmasks to define which inputs are available. Makes it easier to remove ↵Michael Sevakis
old assumptions of which are available. Inspired by e200 being unique in having FM Radio and Mic but no Line. Doesn't remove the assumption that Mic is available or that one of Mic and/or Line is available just to avoid excessive #ifdef'ing until needed. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@13448 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2007-04-11Get rid of some old archos debug cruft (USB polarity, PR polarity and ATA ↵Jens Arnold
address are all derived from the hw mask, and master/slave isn't displayed on other targets either). * Get rid of all the USB*STYLE macros (except USB_IPODSTYLE). git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@13112 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2006-11-06Big Patch adds primarily: Samplerate and format selection to recording for ↵Michael Sevakis
SWCODEC. Supprort for samplerates changing in playback (just goes with the recording part inseparably). Samplerates to all encoders. Encoders can be configured individually on a menu specific to the encoder in the recording menu. File creation is delayed until flush time to reduce spinups when splitting. Misc: statusbar icons for numbers are individual digits to display any number. Audio buffer was rearranged to maximize memory available to recording and properly reinitialized when trashed. ColdFire PCM stuff moved to target tree to avoid a complicated mess when adding samplerate switching. Some needed API changes and to neaten up growing gap between hardware and software codecs. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@11452 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
