2012-05-19Add support for cp1252 (Western European) codepage.Dominik Riebeling
In Europe Windows defaults to its own codepage cp1252 (also known as "WinLatin" or "Windows-1252"). cp1252 adds some characters to ISO-8859-1. Some mp3 tagging software on Windows uses cp1252 instead of ISO-8859-1. This violates the ID3 specification, which requires tags to be ISO-8859-1 or Unicode. However, similar violations are made for other codepages and supported by Rockbox using the "Default Codepage" setting. Add support for cp1252 to enable people using such broken tools to override the correct decoding to get their tags displayed properly. 2010-08-01Rockbox as an application: add get_user_file_path().Thomas Martitz
For RaaA it evaluates user paths at runtime. For everything but codecs/plugins it will give the path under $HOME/.config/rockbox.org if write access is needed or if the file/folder in question exists there (otherwise it gives /usr/local/share/rockbox). This allows for installing themes under $HOME as well as having config.cfg and other important files there while installing the application (and default themes) under /usr/local. On the DAPs it's a no-op, returing /.rockbox directly.
