2008-04-06Really fix the red this time, I hope.Nicolas Pennequin

2008-04-06Commit FS#8308 (Port of imlib2 based smooth scaling) by Jonas Hurrelmann. It ↵Nicolas Pennequin
could be made smaller by taking out some special cases, but I'm leaving them in for now because size isn't really a concern until we decide to move it into the core (if we ever do). test_resize now allows to choose between both resize methods for comparison. sliding_puzzle is made to use the smooth scaling. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@17001 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2008-03-23Sliding puzzle: Fix graphics size and help text for M3. * Bubbles: Better ↵Jens Arnold

2008-03-22D2: Enable plugin building (using initial keymaps from FS#8708 by Andreas ↵Rob Purchase
Mueller, with some tweaks). git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@16751 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2008-03-22Adapt most single-file plugins to the M3 keypad and screen. It's still ↵Jens Arnold
preliminary, as many plugins now can't be left without the remote. The plugins need to be converted to use the action API (but not pluginlib actions). Plugins are not enabled yet. * Simplify the bitmap handling in the source of some plugins. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@16737 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2008-02-03sliding_puzzle improvements: * Use the UI font for numerals and 'moves' ↵Jens Arnold
display when possible. * Center the numerals and the 'moves' display. * Use a simple line separator. * Use black text on white background for greyscale targets. * Simplify the code a bit. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@16207 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2008-02-02Small improvements to sliding puzzle. (1) Don't draw the 'Moves' box at ↵Marianne Arnold
fixed size, and display 'Moves:' and number of moves on one line for square and portrait screens. (2) Use 4x4 spots on Archos too, to make the spots look square on the Archos display - change the default 80x64 image accordingly. (3) Replace the 110x110 images with 108x108 so that the width is evenly divisible by 4 (number of spots) as mentioned in the comment. (4) Make the greyscale images look a little less broken, could be even better though. -- The code could be made simpler and more flexible but one step at a time. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@16200 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
2008-01-31Sliding_puzzle: rearrange the default bitmap definitions and add two more ↵Marianne Arnold
sizes of the bitmap (fixes issues on Nano and small H10). The 'Moves' box is still not fully visible on the latter, I plan to work on it but thought the fix was worth an own commit already. Also let the plugin retrieve the image width and height from the bitmap. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@16188 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2007-09-20Enable plugins on the Sansa C200. Large parts taken from patch FS#7749 by ↵Marianne Arnold
Max Kelley with tweaks, bit of cleanup and additional bitmaps by me. Some of the now enabled plugins could still be improved in regard to screen size adaptation or keymaps but this way it can easily be done later and one by one. The rather ugly 'ifndef's I added temporaryly in plugins/SOURCES will also go one by one. Plugin button actions cause some quirks in a few plugins (e.g. 'clock') but since it's not critical , the bitmaps were already done and it makes a good example for discussing plugin button actions, I thought it could go in. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@14771 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2007-01-14Start of work on a port to the Archos 'AV300' (AV320/340/380) - a working UI ↵Dave Chapman
simulator (but with a dummy background image for now) and the beginnings of the target-specific firmare code. Port is temporarily using a 2bpp LCD buffer format - the AV300 has a 320x240 colour (YCbCr-based) LCD which will need a new framebuffer format and drawing routines, but the LCD is also capable of various paletted bitmap modes, one of which has an identical framebuffer format to the greyscale ipods. Buttons (and hence the button mappings) are identical to the Archos Recorder, with the exception that the PLAY button on the Recorder is replaced by pressing the joystick on the AV300 (which I call BUTTON_SELECT). The initial port will begin by being strictly HWCODEC, but will evolve to be a hybrid SWCODEC/HWCODEC platform - it has a MAS3587F but also a main CPU (54MHz arm7tdmi plus DSP) capable of software decoding of at least some formats. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@12008 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2006-01-15New plugin loader. Solves the crashes introduced with the .bss changes while ↵Jens Arnold
keeping the small binary size. The model & api version check is now part of the plugin loader. Codecs are not yet adapted, but the old method still works for them. Simulator plugins are not (yet) version-checked. API version numbering restarted, as this is an all-new system. Uses the target ID from configure, so don't change that too often. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@8349 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2005-07-064-shades greyscale graphics core for iriver H1x0. 4-grey rockbox logo and ↵Jens Arnold
light grey background in splash() boxes. Simplified the splash() box creation as the new graphics core does clipping. Adapted screendump feature and added flexible preprocessing to construct the bmp header. Rockboy now uses 4-grey mode as well. 4-grey support for win32 simulator. Fixed win32 player sim to not use double bitmap conversion via a recorder-like framebuffer, and correctly display double-height text. X11 simulator temporarily adapted. The display won't be distorted, but it still shows b&w only. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@7046 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2004-12-26Plugin fixes: Correct button name for MODE key in help texts, conforming to ↵Jens Arnold
the manual & wiki documentation (Ondio plugins). Alternate image is selected with MINUS, not MENU (rockbox_flash for player). Shortened some help lines that didn't fit on the display with the default font (solitaire).
