From 8f1597c8f1a58830b67a033309e4b141ee99e379 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Laurent Pinchart Date: Mon, 12 Dec 2016 11:28:47 +0200 Subject: drm: shmobile: Perform initialization/cleanup at probe/remove time The drm driver .load() operation is prone to race conditions as it initializes the driver after registering the device nodes. Its usage is deprecated, inline it in the probe function and call drm_dev_alloc() and drm_dev_register() explicitly. For consistency inline the .unload() handler in the remove function as well. As struct drm_device also contains a dev pointer to the struct device embedded in the platform_device structure, the platformdev field is redundant. Remove it and use the dev pointer directly.
