2008-02-14d_path: Make seq_path() use a struct path argumentJan Blunck
seq_path() is always called with a dentry and a vfsmount from a struct path. Make seq_path() take it directly as an argument. 2007-02-12[PATCH] mark struct file_operations const 6Arjan van de Ven
Many struct file_operations in the kernel can be "const". Marking them const moves these to the .rodata section, which avoids false sharing with potential dirty data. In addition it'll catch accidental writes at compile time to these shared resources. Implement /proc/pid/maps for NOMMU by reading the vm_area_list attached to current->mm->context.vmlist. Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2005-10-17[PATCH] output of /proc/maps on nommu systems is incompleteDavid McCullough
Currently you do not get all the map entries on nommu systems because the start function doesn't index into the list using the value of "pos". Signed-off-by: David McCullough <davidm@snapgear.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
