2013-09-26video: mb862xx: Remove redundant dev_set_drvdataSachin Kamat
Driver core sets driver data to NULL upon failure or remove. Signed-off-by: Sachin Kamat <sachin.kamat@linaro.org> Acked-by: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Tomi Valkeinen <tomi.valkeinen@ti.com>
2013-09-19video: mb862xxfb: remove unnecessary pci_set_drvdata()Jingoo Han
The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure. Thus, it is not needed to manually clear the device driver data to NULL. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Tomi Valkeinen <tomi.valkeinen@ti.com>
2013-01-03Drivers: video: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. 2012-09-22drivers/video/mb862xx/mb862xxfbdrv.c: fix error return codePeter Senna Tschudin
Convert a nonnegative error return code to a negative one, as returned elsewhere in the function. A simplified version of the semantic match that finds this problem is as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/) // <smpl> ( if@p1 (\(ret < 0\|ret != 0\)) { ... return ret; } | ret@p1 = 0 ) ... when != ret = e1 when != &ret *if(...) { ... when != ret = e2 when forall return ret; } // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Peter Senna Tschudin <peter.senna@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Florian Tobias Schandinat <FlorianSchandinat@gmx.de>

2012-05-08video: mb862xxfbdrv.c: local functions should not be exposed globallyH Hartley Sweeten
Functions not referenced outside of a source file should be marked static to prevent them from being exposed globally. Quiets the sparse warnings: warning: symbol 'mb862xx_intr' was not declared. Should it be static? Signed-off-by: H Hartley Sweeten <hsweeten@visionengravers.com> Cc: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Florian Tobias Schandinat <FlorianSchandinat@gmx.de>
2011-10-31video: Add module.h to drivers/video files who really use it.Paul Gortmaker
They were getting this implicitly by an include of module.h from device.h -- but we are going to clean that up and break that include chain, so include module.h explicitly now. [ with contributions from Axel Lin <axel.lin@gmail.com> ] Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
2011-10-03video: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLEDYong Zhang
Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. 2011-08-19mb862xxfb: use display information in info not in var for panningLaurent Pinchart
We must not use any information in the passed var besides xoffset, yoffset and vmode as otherwise applications might abuse it. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com>
2011-06-10treewide: Convert uses of struct resource to resource_size(ptr)Joe Perches
Several fixes as well where the +1 was missing. Done via coccinelle scripts like: @@ struct resource *ptr; @@ - ptr->end - ptr->start + 1 + resource_size(ptr) and some grep and typing. Mostly uncompiled, no cross-compilers. Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: Jiri Kosina <jkosina@suse.cz>
