2012-08-20workqueue: deprecate flush[_delayed]_work_sync()Tejun Heo
flush[_delayed]_work_sync() are now spurious. Mark them deprecated and convert all users to flush[_delayed]_work(). If you're cc'd and wondering what's going on: Now all workqueues are non-reentrant and the regular flushes guarantee that the work item is not pending or running on any CPU on return, so there's no reason to use the sync flushes at all and they're going away. This patch doesn't make any functional difference. 2011-11-26power_supply: Remove IRQF_DISABLEDYong Zhang
Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. Signed-off-by: Yong Zhang <yong.zhang0@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Anton Vorontsov <cbouatmailru@gmail.com>
2011-08-19ds2780_battery&z2_battery: Add __devexit_p at necessary placesAxel Lin
According to the comments in include/linux/init.h: "Pointers to __devexit functions must use __devexit_p(function_name), the wrapper will insert either the function_name or NULL, depending on the config options." 2010-12-22power_supply: Don't use flush_scheduled_work()Tejun Heo
flush_scheduled_work() is deprecated and scheduled to be removed. In battery drivers, the work can be canceled on probe failure and removal and should be flushed on suspend. Replace flush_scheduled_work() usages with direct cancels and flushes. Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <tj@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Anton Vorontsov <cbouatmailru@gmail.com>
