2016-01-08PCI: Fix all whitespace issuesBogicevic Sasa
Fix all whitespace issues (missing or needed whitespace) in all files in drivers/pci. Code is compiled with allyesconfig before and after code changes and objects are recorded and checked with objdiff and they are not changed after this commit. 2014-09-24PCI: Remove assignment from "if" conditionsQuentin Lambert
The following Coccinelle semantic patch was used to find and correct cases of assignments in "if" conditions: @@ expression var, expr; statement S; @@ + var = expr; if( - (var = expr) + var ) S Signed-off-by: Quentin Lambert <lambert.quentin@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>

2014-09-24PCI: Add space before open parenthesisQuentin Lambert
Add space before open parenthesis as is conventional. No functional change. [bhelgaas: fix a few more in ibmphp, shpchp] Signed-off-by: Quentin Lambert <lambert.quentin@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>

2013-11-14PCI: Fix whitespace, capitalization, and spelling errorsBjorn Helgaas
Fix whitespace, capitalization, and spelling errors. No functional change. I know "busses" is not an error, but "buses" was more common, so I used it consistently. 2012-11-28PCI: Remove __dev* markingsBill Pemberton
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option so __devexit_p, __devint, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and _devexit are no longer needed. Signed-off-by: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Acked-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2012-01-13module_param: make bool parameters really bool (drivers & misc)Rusty Russell
module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy trick. It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. For this version it'll simply give a warning, but it'll break next kernel version. Acked-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Rusty Russell <rusty@rustcorp.com.au>

2005-10-30[PATCH] fix missing includesTim Schmielau
I recently picked up my older work to remove unnecessary #includes of sched.h, starting from a patch by Dave Jones to not include sched.h from module.h. This reduces the number of indirect includes of sched.h by ~300. Another ~400 pointless direct includes can be removed after this disentangling (patch to follow later). However, quite a few indirect includes need to be fixed up for this. In order to feed the patches through -mm with as little disturbance as possible, I've split out the fixes I accumulated up to now (complete for i386 and x86_64, more archs to follow later) and post them before the real patch. This way this large part of the patch is kept simple with only adding #includes, and all hunks are independent of each other. So if any hunk rejects or gets in the way of other patches, just drop it. My scripts will pick it up again in the next round. 2005-10-28[PATCH] cpcihp_zt5550: add pci_enable_device()Bjorn Helgaas
Add pci_{enable,disable}_device() calls. Without pci_enable_device(), dev->irq is garbage, and cpcihp_zt5550 relies on it. Compiled but untested, since I don't have the hardware. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
