2017-06-28nvme: use a single NVME_AQ_DEPTH and relax it to 32Sagi Grimberg
No need to differentiate fabrics from pci/loop, also lower it to 32 as we don't really need 256 inflight admin commands. Signed-off-by: Sagi Grimberg <sagi@grimberg.me> Reviewed-by: Martin K. 2017-06-15nvmet: use NVME_IDENTIFY_DATA_SIZEJohannes Thumshirn
Use NVME_IDENTIFY_DATA_SIZE define instead of hard coding the magic 4096 value. 2017-04-04nvmet: Introduced helper routine for controller status check.Parav Pandit
This patch introduces helper function for checking controller status during admin and io command processing which returns u16 status. As to bring consistency on returning status, other friend functions also now return u16 status instead of int to match the spec. As part of the theseerror log prints in also prints qid on which command error occured. 2017-04-04nvmet: Fixed avoided printing nvmet: twice in error logs.Parav Pandit
This patch avoids printing "nvmet:" twice in error logs as its already coming through pr_fmt macro. 2017-02-22nvme: Use CNS as 8-bit field and avoid endianness conversionParav Pandit
This patch defines CNS field as 8-bit field and avoids cpu_to/from_le conversions. Also initialize nvme_command cns value explicitly to NVME_ID_CNS_NS for readability (don't rely on the fact that NVME_ID_CNS_NS = 0). 2016-10-19nvme.h: resync with nvme-cliChristoph Hellwig
Import a few updates to nvme.h from nvme-cli. This mostly includes a few new fields and error codes, but also a few renames that so far are only used in user space. Also one field is moved from an array of two le64 values to one of 16 u8 values so that we can more easily access it. 2016-07-05nvmet: add a generic NVMe targetChristoph Hellwig
This patch introduces a implementation of NVMe subsystems, controllers and discovery service which allows to export NVMe namespaces across fabrics such as Ethernet, FC etc. The implementation conforms to the NVMe 1.2.1 specification and interoperates with NVMe over fabrics host implementations. Configuration works using configfs, and is best performed using the nvmetcli tool from http://git.infradead.org/users/hch/nvmetcli.git, which also has a detailed explanation of the required steps in the README file.
