2019-08-29nvme: trace: parse Get LBA Status command in detailMinwoo Im
Four different fields are in CDWs of Get LBA Status command which means it would be great if we can see in detail when tracing. Signed-off-by: Minwoo Im <minwoo.im.dev@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Sagi Grimberg <sagi@grimberg.me>

2019-06-21nvme-trace: support for fabrics commands in host-sideMinwoo Im
This patch introduces fabrics commands tracing feature from host-side. This patch does not include any changes for the previous host-side tracing, but just add fabrics commands parsing in cmd=() format. 2019-06-21nvme-trace: do not export nvme_trace_disk_nameMinwoo Im
nvme_trace_disk_name() is now already being invoked with the function prototype in trace.h. We don't need to export this symbol at all. The following patches are going to provide target-side trace feature with the exactly same function with this so that this patch removes the EXPORT_SYMBOL() for this function. 2019-03-13nvme: add get-feature to admin cmds tracerMax Gurtovoy
This will print get-feature cmd in more informative way. For example, run "nvme get-feature /dev/nvme0 -n 1 -f 0x9 -c 10" will trace: nvme-3907 [008] .... 1763.635054: nvme_setup_cmd: nvme0: qid=0, cmdid=6, nsid=1, flags=0x0, meta=0x0, cmd=(nvme_admin_get_features fid=0x9 sel=0x0 cdw11=0xa) <idle>-0 [001] d.h. 1763.635112: nvme_sq: nvme0: qid=0, head=27, tail=27 <idle>-0 [008] ..s. 1763.635121: nvme_complete_rq: nvme0: qid=0, cmdid=6, res=10, retries=0, flags=0x2, status=0 Signed-off-by: Max Gurtovoy <maxg@mellanox.com> Reviewed-by: Sagi Grimberg <sagi@grimberg.me> Reviewed-by: Johannes Thumshirn <jthumshirn@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <axboe@kernel.dk>

2018-07-24nvme: add disk name to trace eventsKeith Busch
This will print the disk name to the nvme event trace for io requests so a user can better distinguish traffic to different disks. This can be used to create disk based filters. For example, to see only nvme0n2 traffic: echo "disk == \"nvme0n2\"" > /sys/kernel/debug/tracing/events/nvme/filter Signed-off-by: Keith Busch <keith.busch@intel.com> Reviewed-by: Sagi Grimberg <sagi@grimberg.me> Reviewed-by: Johannes Thumshirn <jthumshirn@suse.de> [hch: turned __assign_disk_name into an inline function] Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>
