2014-06-25net/wireless/brcm80211/brcmfmac: Make return type and name reflect actual ↵Rasmus Villemoes
semantics Applying ++ to a bool is equivalent to setting it true, regardless of its initial value (bools are not uint1_t). Hence the function wl_get_vif_state_all can only ever return true/false. The only in-tree caller uses its return value as a boolean. So update its return type, and since the list traversal and bit testing have no side effects, just return true immediately. Its return value tells if any vif is in the specified state, so also rename it to brcmf_get_vif_state_any. 2014-03-17brcmfmac: remove mode field from brcmf_cfg80211_vif structureArend van Spriel
The nl80211 iftype was converted to a mode value and stored in brcmf_cfg80211_vif structure. The value was used only within brcmfmac driver to decide execution of conditional code. Better use wireless_dev::iftype for that as the wdev is contained in the brcmf_cfg80211_vif structure. 2014-01-06brcmfmac: use custom destructor callback for all netdevice interfacesArend van Spriel
The destructor for net devices was set to free_netdev() to get rid of it and the private data. The private data refers to a brcmf_if instance, but indirectly it also refers to brcmf_cfg80211_vif which holds the wdev. This is freed as well by using a new custom destructor called brcmf_cfg80211_free_netdev(). 2014-01-06brcmfmac: move wiphy_unregister() call to brcmf_cfg80211_detach()Arend van Spriel
The wiphy_unregister() call was done in brcmf_free_vif() when the last interface was being removed. This is not the obvious place to do that. This patch moves it to the brcmf_cfg80211_detach().
