2019-05-31iavf: update comments and file checks to match iavfAlice Michael
Some small things were missed with recent name changes from i40e to iavf. Having a separate patch allows to correct the small misses in one place. Signed-off-by: Alice Michael <alice.michael@intel.com> Tested-by: Andrew Bowers <andrewx.bowers@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2019-05-31iavf: rename i40e_device to iavf_deviceAlice Michael
Renaming remaining defines from i40e to iavf Signed-off-by: Alice Michael <alice.michael@intel.com> Tested-by: Andrew Bowers <andrewx.bowers@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2019-05-31iavf: rename iavf_client.h defines to match driver nameAlice Michael
The defines in iavf_client.h were still vastly i40e, and they should be iavf. Signed-off-by: Alice Michael <alice.michael@intel.com> Tested-by: Andrew Bowers <andrewx.bowers@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2019-05-31iavf: rename iavf_status structure flagsAlice Michael
rename the flags inside of iavf_status from I40E_* to IAVF_* Signed-off-by: Alice Michael <alice.michael@intel.com> Tested-by: Andrew Bowers <andrewx.bowers@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2019-05-31iavf: change iavf_status_code to iavf_statusSergey Nemov
Instead of typedefing the enum iavf_status_code with iavf_status, just shorten the enum itself and get rid of typedef. Signed-off-by: Sergey Nemov <sergey.nemov@intel.com> Tested-by: Andrew Bowers <andrewx.bowers@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2019-05-31iavf: iavf_client: use struct_size() helperGustavo A. R. Silva
One of the more common cases of allocation size calculations is finding the size of a structure that has a zero-sized array at the end, along with memory for some number of elements for that array. For example: struct foo { int stuff; struct boo entry[]; }; size = sizeof(struct foo) + count * sizeof(struct boo); Instead of leaving these open-coded and prone to type mistakes, we can now use the new struct_size() helper: size = struct_size(instance, entry, count); This code was detected with the help of Coccinelle. 2018-09-18iavf: finish renaming files to iavfJesse Brandeburg
This finishes the process of renaming the files that make sense to rename (skipping adminq related files that talk to i40e), and fixes up the build and the #includes so that everything builds nicely. 2018-09-18iavf: rename most of i40e stringsJesse Brandeburg
This is the big rename patch, it takes most of the i40e_ and I40E_ strings and renames them to iavf_ and IAVF_. Some of the adminq code, as well as most of the client interface code used by RDMA is left unchanged in order to indicate that the driver is talking to non-internal to iavf code. 2018-09-18iavf: move i40evf files to new nameJesse Brandeburg
Simply move the i40evf files to the new name, updating the #includes to track the new names, and updating the Makefile as well. A future patch will remove the i40e references (after the code removal patches later in this series).
