2017-06-29mmc: dw_mmc: use the 'slot' instead of 'cur_slot'Jaehoon Chung
Remove the 'cur_slot'. Instead, just use 'slot'. There is no multiple slots, so we need to consider only one slot. Signed-off-by: Jaehoon Chung <jh80.chung@samsung.com> Reviewed-by: Shawn Lin <shawn.lin@rock-chips.com> Signed-off-by: Ulf Hansson <ulf.hansson@linaro.org>
2017-02-13mmc: dw_mmc: Remove the public dw_mmc header fileUlf Hansson
There are currently no external users of the public dw_mmc header file, except the dw_mmc driver itself. Therefore let's move the definitions from the public dw_mmc header file into the existing private dw_mmc header file and then remove the public one. 2016-12-05mmc: dw_mmc: exynos: fix to call suspend callbackJoonyoung Shim
The dw_mmc-exynos should be RPM_ACTIVE on probe() to call suspend callback of runtime PM in pm_runtime_force_suspend() during first system suspend. Also call pm_runtime_get_noresume() on probe() because it doesn't call suspend/resume callback by runtime PM now. 2016-11-29mmc: dw_mmc-exynos: deploy runtime PM facilitiesShawn Lin
Let's migrate it to use runtime PM and remove the system PM callback from this driver. With this patch, it could handle system PM properly and could also use runtime PM if we enable it. Some of Exynos has the Security management Unit(SMU). This patch adds the function for controlling SMU. 2016-02-29mmc: dw_mmc: remove the prepare_command hookJaehoon Chung
This patch removes the prepare_command hook from entire dw_mmc driver. Now, almost all SoCs are using by default, except Exynos. It seems that dwmmc controller is using unnecessary hook. To know whether needs to set this bit or not, add the DW_MMC_CARD_NO_USE_HOLD bit. If some SoCs need to disable this in future, just set the DW_MMC_CARD_NO_USE_HOLD bit. set_bit(DW_MMC_CARD_NO_USE_HOLD, &slot->flags), Signed-off-by: Jaehoon Chung <jh80.chung@samsung.com> Tested-by: Shawn Lin <shawn.lin@rock-chips.com> Reviewed-by: Shawn Lin <shawn.lin@rock-chips.com> Signed-off-by: Ulf Hansson <ulf.hansson@linaro.org>

2015-01-19mmc: dw_mmc: Convert to mmc_send_tuning()Ulf Hansson
Instead of having a local hack taking care of sending the tuning command and as well to verify the response pattern, let's convert to the common mmc_send_tuning() API. This change affects the Exynos variant, since it's the only one which support the dw_mmc's ->execute_tuning() callback. It's seems like dw_mmc internal logic expects failed data transfers to be ended using a stop command. Let the tuning requests also fall into this category, since there are data transfer involved. 2013-09-25mmc: dw_mmc: exynos: adjust the clock rate with speed modeSeungwon Jeon
Exynos's host has divider logic before 'cclk_in' to controller core. It means that actual clock rate of ciu clock comes from this divider value. So, source clock should be adjusted along with 'ciu_div' which indicates the host's divider ratio. Setting clock rate basically fits the required speed. Specially, 'cclk_in' should have double rate of target speed in case of DDR 8-bit mode.
