2020-03-27mfd: rn5t618: Cleanup i2c_device_idAndreas Kemnade
That list was just empty, so it can be removed if .probe_new instead of .probe is used Suggested-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Andreas Kemnade <andreas@kemnade.info> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2020-03-27mfd: rn5t618: Add more subdevicesAndreas Kemnade
Since the RC5T619 has a RTC, use a separate subdevice list for that. The ADC should be the same as in the RN5T618, according to drivers in the wild, but since it is not tested, the ADC is only added for the RC5T619. 2020-03-27mfd: rn5t618: Add RTC related registersAndreas Kemnade
Defines for some RTC related registers were missing, also they were not included in the volatile register list Signed-off-by: Andreas Kemnade <andreas@kemnade.info> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2020-03-27mfd: rn5t618: Add IRQ supportAndreas Kemnade
This adds support for IRQ handling in the RC5T619 which is required for properly implementing subdevices like RTC. For now only definitions for the variant RC5T619 are included. Signed-off-by: Andreas Kemnade <andreas@kemnade.info> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2020-01-24mfd: rn5t618: Mark ADC control register volatileAndreas Kemnade
There is a bit which gets cleared after conversion. Fixes: 9bb9e29c78f8 ("mfd: Add Ricoh RN5T618 PMIC core driver") Signed-off-by: Andreas Kemnade <andreas@kemnade.info> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>

2017-07-06mfd: rn5t618: Unregister restart handler on removeStefan Agner
Remove the restart handler registered in probe on device remove. Fixes: a370f60a58ec ("mfd: rn5t618: Register restart handler") Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2016-11-29mfd: rn5t618: Add Ricoh RC5T619 PMIC supportPierre-Hugues Husson
The Ricoh RN5T567 is from the same family as the Ricoh RN5T618 is, the differences are: + DCDC4/DCDC5 + LDO7-10 + Slightly different output voltage/currents + 32kHz Output + RTC + USB Charger detection Signed-off-by: Pierre-Hugues Husson <phh@phh.me> Acked-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2016-06-29mfd: rn5t618: Register restart handlerStefan Agner
Use the PMIC's repower capability for reboots. Register a restart handler and use a slightly elevated priority of 192 since the PMIC has suprior reset capability (causing a system wide reset). 2016-06-29mfd: rn5t618: Register power off callback optionallyStefan Agner
Only register power off if the PMIC is defined as system power controller (see Documentation/devicetree/bindings/power/ power-controller.txt). Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Reviewed-by: Marcel Ziswiler <marcel.ziswiler@toradex.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2016-06-29mfd: rn5t618: Add Ricoh RN5T567 PMIC supportStefan Agner
The Ricoh RN5T567 is from the same family as the Ricoh RN5T618 is, the differences are: + DCDC4 + Slightly different output voltage/currents + 32kHz Output - ADC/Charger capabilities Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Reviewed-by: Marcel Ziswiler <marcel.ziswiler@toradex.com> Acked-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2016-04-19mfd: rn5t618: Use devm_mfd_add_devices() for mfd_device registrationLaxman Dewangan
Use devm_mfd_add_devices() for MFD devices registration and remove the call of mfd_remove_devices() from .remove callback to remove MFD child-devices. This is done by managed device framework. 2014-09-26mfd: Add Ricoh RN5T618 PMIC core driverBeniamino Galvani
Ricoh RN5T618 is a power management IC which integrates 3 step-down DCDC converters, 7 low-dropout regulators, a Li-ion battery charger, fuel gauge, ADC, GPIOs and a watchdog timer. This commit adds a MFD core driver to support the I2C communication with the device. Signed-off-by: Beniamino Galvani <b.galvani@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
