2020-11-19mfd: Constify static struct resourcesRikard Falkeborn
Constify a number of static struct resource. The only usage of the structs are to assign their address to the resources field in the mfd_cell struct. This allows the compiler to put them in read-only memory. Done with the help of Coccinelle. 2017-07-18mfd: retu: Add OF device ID tableJavier Martinez Canillas
The driver doesn't have a struct of_device_id table but supported devices are registered via Device Trees. This is working on the assumption that a I2C device registered via OF will always match a legacy I2C device ID and that the MODALIAS reported will always be of the form i2c:<device>. But this could change in the future so the correct approach is to have a OF device ID table if the devices are registered via OF. 2017-07-18mfd: retu: Drop -mfd suffix from I2C device ID nameJavier Martinez Canillas
It's not correct to encode the subsystem in the I2C device name, so drop the -mfd suffix. To maintain bisect-ability, change driver and platform code / DTS users in the same patch. 2015-08-11mfd: Drop owner assignment from i2c_driversKrzysztof Kozlowski
i2c_driver does not need to set an owner because i2c_register_driver() will set it. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <k.kozlowski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2015-01-22mfd: retu: Constify struct regmap_configKrzysztof Kozlowski
The regmap_config struct may be const because it is not modified by the driver and regmap_init() accepts pointer to const. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <k.kozlowski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2014-03-19mfd: Delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker
None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. 2014-01-06mfd: Constify struct mfd_cell where possibleGeert Uytterhoeven
As of commit 03e361b25ee8dfb1fd9b890072c23c4aae01c6c7 ("mfd: Stop setting refcounting pointers in original mfd_cell arrays"), the "cell" parameter of mfd_add_devices() is "const" again. Hence make all cell data passed to mfd_add_devices() const where possible. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2013-04-19mfd: retu: Add Tahvo supportAaro Koskinen
Tahvo is a multi-function device on Nokia 770, implementing USB transceiver and charge/battery control. It's so close to Retu that a single driver can support both. Signed-off-by: Aaro Koskinen <aaro.koskinen@iki.fi> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
2013-01-03Drivers: mfd: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. 2012-11-21mfd: Introduce retu-mfd driverAaro Koskinen
Retu is a multi-function device found on Nokia Internet Tablets implementing at least watchdog, RTC, headset detection and power button functionality. This patch implements minimum functionality providing register access, IRQ handling and power off functions.
