2020-03-10macintosh: windfarm: fix MODINFO regressionWolfram Sang
Commit af503716ac14 made sure OF devices get an OF style modalias with I2C events. It assumed all in-tree users were converted, yet it missed some Macintosh drivers. Add an OF module device table for all windfarm drivers to make them automatically load again. 2019-10-18macintosh: Use pr_warn instead of pr_warningKefeng Wang
As said in commit f2c2cbcc35d4 ("powerpc: Use pr_warn instead of pr_warning"), removing pr_warning so all logging messages use a consistent <prefix>_warn style. Let's do it. Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): released under the term of the gnu gpl v2 extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-only has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 16 file(s). 2018-11-26macintosh: Use device_type helpers to access the node typeRob Herring
Remove directly accessing device_node.type pointer and use the accessors instead. This will eventually allow removing the type pointer. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
2018-11-26macintosh: windfarm: Another convert to using %pOFn instead of device_node.nameRob Herring
In preparation to remove the node name pointer from struct device_node, convert printf users to use the %pOFn format specifier. Convert the open coded iterating thru child nodes to for_each_child_of_node() while we're here. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
2017-09-01macintosh: Convert to using %pOF instead of full_nameRob Herring
Now that we have a custom printf format specifier, convert users of full_name to use %pOF instead. This is preparation to remove storing of the full path string for each node. 2013-01-03Drivers: macintosh: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. 2012-04-30powerpc/powermac: New windfarm driver for PowerMac G5 (AGP) and Xserve G5Benjamin Herrenschmidt
This replaces the old therm_pm72 using the same windfarm infrastructure that was used for other PowerMac G5 models. The fan speeds and sensors should now be visible in the same location in sysfs. The driver is split into separate core modules for PowerMac7,2 (and 7,3) and RackMac3,1, with a lot of the shared code now in the separate sensor and control modules.
