XRC_TGT QP doesn't fail into kernel or user flow separation. It is initiated by the user, but is created through in-kernel verbs flow and doesn't have PD and udata in similar way to kernel QPs. QP type is stored in the IB/core QP struct, but it doesn't have all the needed information, like internal QP type used in the driver itself.
