2017-04-19cpuidle: cpuidle-cps: remove unused variableMarcin Nowakowski
'core' in cps_cpuidle_init has never been used and is unnecessary, so remove the dead code. Signed-off-by: Marcin Nowakowski <marcin.nowakowski@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Rafael J. Wysocki <rafael.j.wysocki@intel.com>

2014-11-12cpuidle: Invert CPUIDLE_FLAG_TIME_VALID logicDaniel Lezcano
The only place where the time is invalid is when the ACPI_CSTATE_FFH entry method is not set. Otherwise for all the drivers, the time can be correctly measured. Instead of duplicating the CPUIDLE_FLAG_TIME_VALID flag in all the drivers for all the states, just invert the logic by replacing it by the flag CPUIDLE_FLAG_TIME_INVALID, hence we can set this flag only for the acpi idle driver, remove the former flag from all the drivers and invert the logic with this flag in the different governor. 2014-05-28cpuidle: cpuidle-cps: add MIPS CPS cpuidle driverPaul Burton
This patch adds a cpuidle driver for systems based around the MIPS Coherent Processing System (CPS) architecture. It supports four idle states: - The standard MIPS wait instruction. - The non-coherent wait, clock gated & power gated states exposed by the recently added pm-cps layer. The pm-cps layer is used to enter all the deep idle states. Since cores in the clock or power gated states cannot service interrupts, the gic_send_ipi_single function is modified to send a power up command for the appropriate core to the CPC in cases where the target CPU has marked itself potentially incoherent.
