2016-04-15clk: palmas: Remove CLK_IS_ROOTStephen Boyd
This flag is a no-op now. Remove usage of the flag. Cc: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Cc: Nishanth Menon <nm@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2016-01-29clk: palmas: fix a possible NULL dereferenceLABBE Corentin
of_match_device could return NULL, and so cause a NULL pointer dereference later. Even if the probability of this case is very low, fixing it made static analyzers happy. Solving this with of_device_get_match_data made also code simplier. 2016-01-29clk: palmas: constify the palmas_clks_of_match_data structureLABBE Corentin
The palmas_clks_of_match_data structures are never modified. This patch constify them. Signed-off-by: LABBE Corentin <clabbe.montjoie@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2015-07-20clk: palmas: Remove clkdev.h includesStephen Boyd
This driver includes clkdev.h even though it isn't used, so drop it. Cc: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Cc: Nishanth Menon <nm@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2015-04-01clk: constify of_device_id arrayFabian Frederick
of_device_id is always used as const. (See driver.of_match_table and open firmware functions) __initdata updated to __initconst for static const struct of_device_id ti_clkdm_match_table[] Signed-off-by: Fabian Frederick <fabf@skynet.be> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2014-09-25clk: Remove .owner field for driverKiran Padwal
There is no need to init .owner field. Based on the patch from Peter Griffin <peter.griffin@linaro.org> "mmc: remove .owner field for drivers using module_platform_driver" This patch removes the superflous .owner field for drivers which use the module_platform_driver API, as this is overriden in platform_driver_register anyway." 2014-07-01clk: Add driver for Palmas clk32kg and clk32kgaudio clocksPeter Ujfalusi
Palmas class of devices can provide 32K clock(s) to be used by other devices on the board. Depending on the actual device the provided clocks can be: CLK32K_KG and CLK32K_KGAUDIO or only one: CLK32K_KG (TPS659039 for example) Use separate compatible flags for the two 32K clock. A system which needs or have only one of the 32k clock from Palmas will need to add node(s) for each clock as separate section in the dts file. The two compatible property is: "ti,palmas-clk32kg" for clk32kg clock "ti,palmas-clk32kgaudio" for clk32kgaudio clock Apart from the register control of the clocks - which is done via the clock API there is a posibility to enable the external sleep control. In this way the clock can be enabled/disabled on demand by the user of the clock. See the documentation for more details.
