2019-05-30treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - rule 152Thomas Gleixner
Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): this program is free software you can redistribute it and or modify it under the terms of the gnu general public license as published by the free software foundation either version 2 of the license or at your option any later version extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-or-later has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 3029 file(s). 2019-01-09clk: clps711x: Remove board supportAlexander Shiyan
Since board support for the CLPS711X platform was removed, remove the board support from the clk-clps711x driver. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@kernel.org>
2018-06-06treewide: Use struct_size() for kmalloc()-familyKees Cook
One of the more common cases of allocation size calculations is finding the size of a structure that has a zero-sized array at the end, along with memory for some number of elements for that array. For example: struct foo { int stuff; void *entry[]; }; instance = kmalloc(sizeof(struct foo) + sizeof(void *) * count, GFP_KERNEL); Instead of leaving these open-coded and prone to type mistakes, we can now use the new struct_size() helper: instance = kmalloc(struct_size(instance, entry, count), GFP_KERNEL); This patch makes the changes for kmalloc()-family (and kvmalloc()-family) uses. It was done via automatic conversion with manual review for the "CHECKME" non-standard cases noted below, using the following Coccinelle script: // pkey_cache = kmalloc(sizeof *pkey_cache + tprops->pkey_tbl_len * // sizeof *pkey_cache->table, GFP_KERNEL); @@ identifier alloc =~ "kmalloc|kzalloc|kvmalloc|kvzalloc"; expression GFP; identifier VAR, ELEMENT; expression COUNT; @@ - alloc(sizeof(*VAR) + COUNT * sizeof(*VAR->ELEMENT), GFP) + alloc(struct_size(VAR, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) // mr = kzalloc(sizeof(*mr) + m * sizeof(mr->map[0]), GFP_KERNEL); @@ identifier alloc =~ "kmalloc|kzalloc|kvmalloc|kvzalloc"; expression GFP; identifier VAR, ELEMENT; expression COUNT; @@ - alloc(sizeof(*VAR) + COUNT * sizeof(VAR->ELEMENT[0]), GFP) + alloc(struct_size(VAR, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) // Same pattern, but can't trivially locate the trailing element name, // or variable name. @@ identifier alloc =~ "kmalloc|kzalloc|kvmalloc|kvzalloc"; expression GFP; expression SOMETHING, COUNT, ELEMENT; @@ - alloc(sizeof(SOMETHING) + COUNT * sizeof(ELEMENT), GFP) + alloc(CHECKME_struct_size(&SOMETHING, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org>
2016-08-24clk: clps711x: Migrate to clk_hw based OF and registration APIsStephen Boyd
Now that we have clk_hw based provider APIs to register clks, we can get rid of struct clk pointers while registering clks in these drivers, allowing us to move closer to a clear split of consumer and provider clk APIs. supported chip This patch changes the compatibility string to match with the smallest supported chip (EP7209). Since the DT-support for this CPU is not yet announced, this change is safe. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2016-04-15clk: clps711x: Remove CLK_IS_ROOTStephen Boyd
This flag is a no-op now. Remove usage of the flag. Cc: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2015-07-20clk: clps711x: Remove clk.h includeStephen Boyd
Clock provider drivers generally shouldn't include clk.h because it's the consumer API. Remove the include here because this is a provider driver. Cc: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2014-07-28clk: Add CLPS711X clk driverAlexander Shiyan
This adds the clock driver for Cirrus Logic CLPS711X series SoCs using common clock infrastructure. Designed primarily for migration CLPS711X subarch for multiplatform & DT, for this as the "OF" and "non-OF" calls implemented.
