2010-10-01ACPICA: Fix acpi_os_read_pci_configuration prototypeBob Moore
Prototype in acpiosxf.h had the output value pointer as a (u32 *). Should be a (u64 *). Signed-off-by: Bob Moore <robert.moore@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Lin Ming <ming.m.lin@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Len Brown <len.brown@intel.com>
2010-07-06ACPICA: Core: Replace all %d format specifiers with %u (unsigned)Bob Moore
With only a few exceptions, ACPICA does not use signed integers. Therefore, %d is incorrect. Signed-off-by: Bob Moore <robert.moore@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Lin Ming <ming.m.lin@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Len Brown <len.brown@intel.com>
2010-04-20ACPICA: Add write support for DataTable operation regionsBob Moore
The original implementation only supported reading from a DataTable region. However, some machines have been seen that actually write to the ACPI table contained in such a region. This change adds support for writing to a DataTable region. 2010-04-20ACPICA: Standardize integer output for ACPICA warnings/errorsBob Moore
Always use 0x prefix for hex output, use %u for integer output (all integers are unsigned.) Signed-off-by: Bob Moore <robert.moore@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Lin Ming <ming.m.lin@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Len Brown <len.brown@intel.com>
2010-01-22ACPICA: Remove obsolete ACPI_INTEGER (acpi_integer) typeBob Moore
This type was introduced as the code was migrated from ACPI 1.0 (with 32-bit AML integers) to ACPI 2.0 (with 64-bit integers). It is now obsolete and this change removes it from the ACPICA code base, replaced by u64. The original typedef has been retained for now for compatibility with existing device driver code. 2010-01-22ACPICA: Update all ACPICA copyrights and signons to 2010Bob Moore
Add 2010 copyright to all module headers and signons, including the Linux header. This affects virtually every file in the ACPICA core subsystem, iASL compiler, and all utilities. 2009-11-05ACPICA: avoid "Info: mapping multiple BARs. Your kernel is fine."Bob Moore
Ensure that memory mappings created for operation regions do not cross page boundaries. Crossing a page boundary while mapping regions can cause warnings if the pages have different attributes. Such regions are probably BIOS bugs, and this is the workaround. http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14445 [Kernel summit hacking hour] Signed-off-by: Bob Moore <robert.moore@intel.com> Acked-by: Suresh Siddha <suresh.b.siddha@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Lin Ming <ming.m.lin@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Len Brown <len.brown@intel.com>
