2013-10-31ACPICA: Linuxize: Change indentation of C labels.Lv Zheng
It is reported by kernel build test systems that all ACPICA source files in the kernel tree have incorrect label indentation. This patch changes default indent option used in the release process to fix this bug. Lv Zheng. 2013-01-10ACPICA: Interpreter: Add warning if 64-bit constant appears in 32-bit table.Bob Moore
Some ASL compilers allow 64-bit constants within a 32-bit table (DSDT version == 1). When encountered, emit a warning that the constant will be truncated to 32 bits. 2013-01-10ACPICA: Cleanup source to reduce differences between Linux and ACPICA.Lv Zheng
This is a cosmetic patch only. Comparison of the resulting binary showed only line number differences. This patch does not affect the generation of the Linux binary. This patch decreases 389 lines of 20121018 divergence.diff. This patch reduces source code diff caused by the simple code maintenance work: 1. Deletion of the unused include files. 2. Deletion of the deprecated codes blocks. 3. Repositioning of the code blocks. 4. Replacing the values with the well defined macros. 5. Replacing the types with the equivalent types. 2010-07-06ACPICA: Fix for Alias references within Package objectsBob Moore
This fixes a problem where a reference to an Alias within the definition of a Package was not always resolved properly. Aliases to objects like Processors, ThermalZones, etc. were resolved to the actual object instead of a reference to the object as it should be. 2010-01-22ACPICA: Remove obsolete ACPI_INTEGER (acpi_integer) typeBob Moore
This type was introduced as the code was migrated from ACPI 1.0 (with 32-bit AML integers) to ACPI 2.0 (with 64-bit integers). It is now obsolete and this change removes it from the ACPICA code base, replaced by u64. The original typedef has been retained for now for compatibility with existing device driver code. 2009-11-24ACPICA: Change package length error message to an info messageBob Moore
This message happens when the package element list is longer than the declared length of the package. Changed to an info message because this condition is not actually an error. It is caused by the BIOS attempting to truncate the package on the fly by adjusting the package element count at the start of the package definition. 2009-09-08ACPICA: Fix memory leak for ill-formed Package objectsBob Moore
Fixes a possible memory leak in the interpreter for package objects if the package initializer list is longer than the defined size of the package. This apparently can only happen if the BIOS changes the package size on the fly (seen in a _PSS object), as both iASL and the other compiler do not allow this. The interpreter will truncate the package to the defined size (and issue an error message), but can leave the extra objects undeleted if they have been pre-created during the argument processing (such is the case if the package consists of a number of sub-packages as in the _PSS.)
