2015-07-29s390/pci: use pci_rescan_remove_lockSebastian Ott
Make sure that we use the pci_rescan_remove_lock when we remove or add functions from/to the bus. Reviewed-by: Gerald Schaefer <gerald.schaefer@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Sebastian Ott <sebott@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2015-07-22s390/pci: inline get_zdevSebastian Ott
Inline get_zdev to save ~200 bytes of kernel text for CONFIG_PCI=y. Also rename the function to to_zpci to make clear that we don't do reference counting here. Signed-off-by: Sebastian Ott <sebott@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2014-07-22s390/pci: fix kmsg componentGerald Schaefer
KMSG_COMPONENT has to be defined instead of COMPONENT. Signed-off-by: Gerald Schaefer <gerald.schaefer@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2014-05-20s390/pci: add some new arch specific pci attributesSebastian Ott
Add a bunch of s390 specific pci attributes to help identifying pci functions. Reviewed-by: Gerald Schaefer <gerald.schaefer@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Sebastian Ott <sebott@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2014-05-20s390/pci: use pdev->dev.groups for attribute creationSebastian Ott
Let the driver core handle attribute creation by putting all s390 specific pci attributes in an attribute group which is referenced by pdev->dev.groups in pcibios_add_device. 2014-05-20s390/pci: use macro for attribute creationSebastian Ott
Introduce the zpci_attr macro to create read only sysfs attributes to avoid duplicate code. Reviewed-by: Gerald Schaefer <gerald.schaefer@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Sebastian Ott <sebott@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2014-02-07s390: use device_remove_file_self() instead of device_schedule_callback()Tejun Heo
driver-core now supports synchrnous self-deletion of attributes and the asynchrnous removal mechanism is scheduled for removal. Use it instead of device_schedule_callback(). * Conversions in arch/s390/pci/pci_sysfs.c and drivers/s390/block/dcssblk.c are straightforward. * drivers/s390/cio/ccwgroup.c is a bit more tricky because ccwgroup_notifier() was (ab)using device_schedule_callback() to purely obtain a process context to kick off ungroup operation which may block from a notifier callback. Rename ccwgroup_ungroup_callback() to ccwgroup_ungroup() and make it take ccwgroup_device * instead. The new function is now called directly from ccwgroup_ungroup_store(). ccwgroup_notifier() chain is updated to explicitly bounce through ccwgroup_device->ungroup_work. This also removes possible failure from memory pressure. Only compile-tested. 2013-08-30s390/pci: add recover sysfs knobSebastian Ott
Add an arch specific attribute to recover a pci function from an error state or config space blockage. Signed-off-by: Sebastian Ott <sebott@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2013-06-26s390/pci: sysfs remove strlenSebastian Ott
Get rid of the strlen calls, use the return value of sprintf instead. Reviewed-by: Gerald Schaefer <gerald.schaefer@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Sebastian Ott <sebott@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2013-06-26s390/pci: use to_pci_devSebastian Ott

2012-11-30s390/pci: s390 specific PCI sysfs attributesJan Glauber
Add some s390 specific sysfs attributes to the PCI device directory. The following attributes are introduced: - function_id (PCI function ID) - function_handle (PCI function handle) - pchid (PCI channel ID) - pfgid (PCI function group ID aka PCI root complex) Signed-off-by: Jan Glauber <jang@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
