2019-05-30treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - rule 152Thomas Gleixner
Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): this program is free software you can redistribute it and or modify it under the terms of the gnu general public license as published by the free software foundation either version 2 of the license or at your option any later version extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-or-later has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 3029 file(s). 2017-03-31powerpc/4xx: Make sam440ep_setup_rtc() initYang Shi
sam440ep_setup_rtc() is just called by machine_device_initcall() so make it __init. Signed-off-by: Yang Shi <yang.shi@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
2016-07-21powerpc: Move 32-bit probe() machine to later in the boot processBenjamin Herrenschmidt
This converts all the 32-bit platforms to use the expanded device-tree which is a pretty mechanical change. Unlike 64-bit, the 32-bit kernel didn't rely on platform initializations to setup the MMU since it sets it up entirely before probe_machine() so the move has comparatively less consequences though it's a bigger patch. 2014-09-25powerpc: make of_device_ids constUwe Kleine-König
of_device_ids (i.e. compatible strings and the respective data) are not supposed to change at runtime. All functions working with of_device_ids provided by <linux/of.h> work with const of_device_ids. This allows to mark all struct of_device_id const, too. While touching these line also put the __init annotation at the right position where necessary. 2011-07-12powerpc: rename ppc_pci_*_flags to pci_*_flagsRob Herring
This renames pci flags functions and enums in preparation for creating generic version in asm-generic/pci-bridge.h. The following search and replace is done: s/ppc_pci_/pci_/ s/PPC_PCI_/PCI_/ Direct accesses to ppc_pci_flag variable are replaced with helper functions. 2008-12-16powerpc: Introduce ppc_pci_flags accessorsJosh Boyer
Currently there are a number of platforms that open code access to the ppc_pci_flags global variable. However, that variable is not present if CONFIG_PCI is not set, which can lead to a build break. This introduces a number of accessor functions that are defined to be empty in the case of CONFIG_PCI being disabled. The various platform files in the kernel are updated to use these.
