2020-03-19rtc/ia64: remove legacy efirtc driverArnd Bergmann
There are two EFI RTC drivers, the original drivers/char/efirtc.c driver and the more modern drivers/rtc/rtc-efi.c. Both implement the same interface, but the new one does so in a more portable way. Move everything over to that one and remove the old one. 2019-08-16drivers: remove the SGI SN2 IOC4 base supportChristoph Hellwig
The IOC4 is a multi-function chip seen on SGI SN2 and some SGI MIPS systems. This removes the base driver, which while not having an SN2 Kconfig dependency was only for sub-drivers that had one. 2019-08-16drivers: remove the SGI SN2 IOC3 base supportChristoph Hellwig
The IOC3 is a multi-function chip seen on SGI SN2 and some SGI MIPS systems. This removes the last bit of SN2 specific support, while the bits used by the mips ports are still around (and being substantially rewritten at the moment). 2014-09-23[IA64] refresh arch/ia64/configs/* using "make savedefconfig"Tony Luck
Prompted by a change to drivers/scsi/Kconfig which used to do a "select NET" but now does a "depends on NET". This meant that some configurations ended up without CONFIG_NET=y Signed-off-by Tony Luck <tony.luck@intel.com>
2014-05-27USB: delete CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS from defconfigNaoki MATSUMOTO
It no longer occurs in Kconfig. USB: remove CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS(fb28d58b) leaked remove defconfig. Signed-off-by: Naoki MATSUMOTO <nekomatu+linux@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-07-25PCI: hotplug: Convert to be builtin only, not modularBjorn Helgaas
Convert CONFIG_HOTPLUG_PCI from tristate to bool. This only affects the hotplug core; several of the hotplug drivers can still be modules. Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com> Acked-by: Rafael J. Wysocki <rafael.j.wysocki@intel.com> Acked-by: Yinghai Lu <yinghai@kernel.org>
2012-08-20[IA64] defconfig: Remove CONFIG_MISC_DEVICESFabio Estevam
commit 7c5763b845 (drivers:misc: Remove MISC_DEVICES config option) removed CONFIG_MISC_DEVICES option, so remove the occurrences from the config files as well. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Luck <tony.luck@intel.com>
2011-08-26[IA64[ add CONFIG_NET_VENDOR_INTEL=y to default config files where neededTony Luck
Jeff Kirsher's reorganization of network drivers means that we need to choose CONFIG_NET_VENDOR_INTEL before options like CONFIG_E100 and CONFIG_E1000 become visible. Fix the minimized ia64 config files so that we continue to have network drivers in the kernels that they build. Signed-off-by: Tony Luck <tony.luck@intel.com>

2010-07-13[IA64] Put ia64 config files on the Uwe Kleine-König dietTony Luck
arch/arm config files were slimmed down using a python script (See commit c2330e286f68f1c408b4aa6515ba49d57f05beae comment) Do the same for ia64 so we can have sleek & trim looking defconfig files too. Signed-off-by: Tony Luck <tony.luck@intel.com>
2010-02-08[IA64] Remove COMPAT_IA32 supportTony Luck
This has been broken since May 2008 when Al Viro killed altroot support. Since nobody has complained, it would appear that there are no users of this code (A plausible theory since the main OSVs that support ia64 prefer to use the IA32-EL software emulation). 2007-08-13[IA64] Update arch/ia64/configs/* s/SLAB/SLUB/Christoph Lameter
The slab allocator was changed in 2.6.23 to default to SLUB. However, the config files in arch/ia64/configs still use SLAB. Switch them to SLUB. Added same change to arch/ia64/defconfig ... Tony Signed-off-by: Christoph Lameter <clameter@sgi.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Luck <tony.luck@intel.com>
2007-07-20[IA64] Convert to generic timekeeping/clocksourceTony Luck

2006-03-07[IA64] gensparse_defconfig: turn on PNPACPIBjorn Helgaas
Turn on CONFIG_PNPACPI. I recently removed 8250_acpi.c. All devices previously claimed by 8250_acpi.c should now be claimed by 8250_pnp.c. This depends on having CONFIG_PNPACPI so ACPI devices show up as PNP devices. All other ia64 defconfigs either have CONFIG_PNPACPI already, or don't have 8250 support turned on at all. 2006-01-18[PATCH] e1000: Added disable packet split capabilityJesse Brandeburg

2006-01-14[PATCH] Altix: ioc3 serial supportPatrick Gefre
Add driver support for a 2 port PCI IOC3-based serial card on Altix boxes: This is a re-submission. On the original submission I was asked to organize the code so that the MIPS ioc3 ethernet and serial parts could be used with this driver. Stanislaw Skowronek was kind enough to provide the shim layer for this - thanks Stanislaw. This patch includes the shim layer and the Altix PCI ioc3 serial driver. The MIPS merged ioc3 ethernet and serial support is forthcoming.
