2019-06-22arm64: compat: Expose signal related structuresVincenzo Frascino
The compat signal data structures are required as part of the compat vDSO implementation in order to provide the unwinding information for the sigreturn trampolines. Expose these data structures as part of signal32.h. 2019-04-23arm64: compat: Alloc separate pages for vectors and sigpageVincenzo Frascino
For AArch32 tasks, we install a special "[vectors]" page that contains the sigreturn trampolines and kuser helpers, which is mapped at a fixed address specified by the kuser helpers ABI. Having the sigreturn trampolines in the same page as the kuser helpers makes it impossible to disable the kuser helpers independently. Follow the Arm implementation, by moving the signal trampolines out of the "[vectors]" page and into their own "[sigpage]". 2017-08-10arm64: compat: Remove leftover variable declarationKevin Brodsky
Commit a1d5ebaf8ccd ("arm64: big-endian: don't treat code as data when copying sigret code") moved the 32-bit sigreturn trampoline code from the aarch32_sigret_code array to kuser32.S. The commit removed the array definition from signal32.c, but not its declaration in signal32.h. Remove the leftover declaration. 2012-09-17arm64: 32-bit (compat) applications supportWill Deacon
This patch adds support for 32-bit applications. The vectors page is a binary blob mapped into the application user space at 0xffff0000 (the AArch64 toolchain does not support compilation of AArch32 code). Full compatibility with ARMv7 user space is supported. The use of deprecated ARMv7 functionality (SWP, CP15 barriers) has been disabled by default on AArch64 kernels and unaligned LDM/STM is not supported. Please note that only the ARM 32-bit EABI is supported, so no OABI compatibility.
