2019-12-20crypto: arm64 - Use modern annotations for assembly functionsMark Brown
In an effort to clarify and simplify the annotation of assembly functions in the kernel new macros have been introduced. These replace ENTRY and ENDPROC and also add a new annotation for static functions which previously had no ENTRY equivalent. Update the annotations in the crypto code to the new macros. There are a small number of files imported from OpenSSL where the assembly is generated using perl programs, these are not currently annotated at all and have not been modified. 2018-05-12crypto: arm64/sha2-ce - yield NEON after every block of inputArd Biesheuvel
Avoid excessive scheduling delays under a preemptible kernel by yielding the NEON after every block of input. Signed-off-by: Ard Biesheuvel <ard.biesheuvel@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2018-01-18crypto: arm64/sha2-ce - move the round constant table to .rodata sectionArd Biesheuvel
Move the SHA2 round constant table to the .rodata section where it is safe from being exploited by speculative execution. Signed-off-by: Ard Biesheuvel <ard.biesheuvel@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2017-05-18crypto: arm64/sha - avoid non-standard inline asm tricksArd Biesheuvel
Replace the inline asm which exports struct offsets as ELF symbols with proper const variables exposing the same values. This works around an issue with Clang which does not interpret the "i" (or "I") constraints in the same way as GCC. 2016-10-21crypto: arm64/sha2-ce - fix for big endianArd Biesheuvel
The SHA256 digest is an array of 8 32-bit quantities, so we should refer to them as such in order for this code to work correctly when built for big endian. So replace 16 byte scalar loads and stores with 4x32 vector ones where appropriate. 2015-04-10crypto: arm64/sha2-ce - move SHA-224/256 ARMv8 implementation to base layerArd Biesheuvel
This removes all the boilerplate from the existing implementation, and replaces it with calls into the base layer. Signed-off-by: Ard Biesheuvel <ard.biesheuvel@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2014-05-14arm64/crypto: SHA-224/SHA-256 using ARMv8 Crypto ExtensionsArd Biesheuvel
This patch adds support for the SHA-224 and SHA-256 Secure Hash Algorithms for CPUs that have support for the SHA-2 part of the ARM v8 Crypto Extensions. Signed-off-by: Ard Biesheuvel <ard.biesheuvel@linaro.org> Acked-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
