2018-10-03arm64: dts: meson-axg: s400: add missing emmc pwrseqJerome Brunet
eMMC pwrseq is defined in the s400 dts but not used in the emmc node. This is probably just a copy/paste error Fixes: 221cf34bac54 ("ARM64: dts: meson-axg: enable the eMMC controller") Signed-off-by: Jerome Brunet <jbrunet@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com>
2018-09-26arm64: dts: meson-g12a: add initial g12a s905d2 SoC DT supportJianxin Pan
Try to add basic DT support for the Amlogic's Meson-G12A S905D2 SoC, which describe components as follows: Reserve Memory, CPU, GIC, IRQ, Timer, UART. It's capable of booting up into the serial console. 2018-09-14arm64: dts: meson: Fix erroneous SPI bus warningsRob Herring
dtc has new checks for SPI buses. The meson dts files have a node named spi' which causes false positive warnings. As the node is a pinctrl child node, change the node name to be 'spi-pins' to fix the warnings. arch/arm64/boot/dts/amlogic/meson-gxbb-nanopi-k2.dtb: Warning (spi_bus_bridge): /soc/periphs@c8834000/pinctrl@4b0/spi: incorrect #address-cells for SPI bus Cc: Carlo Caione <carlo@caione.org> Cc: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com> Cc: linux-amlogic@lists.infradead.org Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com>
2018-09-13arm64: dts: meson: Switch simple-mfd and syscon orderNeil Armstrong
The order between "syscon" and "simple-mfd" is important because in these particular cases, the node needs to be first a "simple-mfd" to expose it's sub-nodes, and later on a "syscon" to permit other nodes to access this register space through the "syscon" mechanism. 2018-08-24arm64: dts: Fix various entry-method properties to reflect documentationAmit Kucheria
The idle-states binding documentation[1] mentions that the 'entry-method' property is required on 64-bit platforms and must be set to "psci". commit a13f18f59d26 ("Documentation: arm: Fix typo in the idle-states bindings examples") attempted to fix this earlier but clearly more is needed. Fix the cpu-capacity.txt documentation that uses the incorrect value so we don't get copy-paste errors like these. Clarify the language in idle-states.txt by removing the reference to the psci bindings that might be causing this confusion. Finally, fix devicetrees of various boards to reflect current documentation. We also split up the regmap address space into two, for the TM and SROT registers. This was required to deal with different address offsets for the TM and SROT registers across different SoC families. 8996 has two TSENS IP blocks, initialise the second one too. Since tsens-common.c/init_common() currently only registers one address space, the order is important (TM before SROT). This is OK since the code doesn't really use the SROT functionality yet.
