Pull ARM updates from Russell King:
"Bigger items included in this update are:
- A series of updates from Arnd for ARM randconfig build failures
- Updates from Dmitry for StrongARM SA-1100 to move IRQ handling to
drivers/irqchip/
- Move ARMs SP804 timer to drivers/clocksource/
- Perf updates from Mark Rutland in preparation to move the ARM perf
code into drivers/ so it can be shared with ARM64.
- MCPM updates from Nicolas
- Add support for taking platform serial number from DT
- Re-implement Keystone2 physical address space switch to conform to
architecture requirements
- Clean up ARMv7 LPAE code, which goes in hand with the Keystone2
changes.
- L2C cleanups to avoid unlocking caches if we're prevented by the
secure support to unlock.
- Avoid cleaning a potentially dirty cache containing stale data on
CPU initialisation
- Add ARM-only entry point for secondary startup (for machines that
can only call into a Thumb kernel in ARM mode). Same thing is also
done for the resume entry point.
- Provide arch_irqs_disabled via asm-generic
- Enlarge ARMv7M vector table
- Always use BFD linker for VDSO, as gold doesn't accept some of the
options we need.
- Fix an incorrect BSYM (for Thumb symbols) usage, and convert all
BSYM compiler macros to a "badr" (for branch address).
- Shut up compiler warnings provoked by our cmpxchg() implementation.
- Ensure bad xchg sizes fail to link"

I recently did a rework of the smc91x driver and did some build-testing
by compiling hundreds of randconfig kernels. Unfortunately, my script
was wrong and did not actually test the configurations that mattered,
so I introduced stupid typos in almost every file I touched.
I fixed my script now, built all configurations that actually matter
and fixed all the typos, this is the result.

The smc91x driver traditionally gets configured at compile-time
for whichever hardware it runs on. This no longer works on
ARM as we continue to move to building all-in-one kernels.
Most ARM configurations with this driver already use run-time
configuration through DT or through platform_data, but a
few have not been converted yet.
I've checked all ARM boards that use this driver in their
legacy board files, and converted the ones that were using
compile-time configuration in smc91x.h to behave like the
other ones and provide the interrupt polarity along with
the MMIO configuration (width, stride) at platform device
creation time.
In particular, these combinations were previously selectable
in Kconfig but in fact broken:
- sa1100 assabet plus pleb
- msm combined with any other armv6/v7 platform
- pxa-idp combined with any non-DMA pxa variant
- LogicPD PXA270 combined with any other pxa
- nomadik combined with any other armv4/v5 platform,
e.g. versatile.
None of these seem critical enough to warrant a backport
to stable, but it would be nice to clean this up for good.

I would like the patch to get merged through netdev, after
Robert and/or Linus have verified it on at least some hardware.
There are a few other non-ARM platforms using this driver,
I could do the same patch for those if we want to take
it further.

StrongARM core uses RCSR SMR bit to tell to bootloader that it was reset
by entering the sleep mode. After we have resumed, there is little point
in having that bit enabled. Moreover, if this bit is set before reboot,
the bootloader can become confused. Thus clear the SMR bit on resume
just before clearing the scratchpad (resume address) register.

Low GPIO pins use an interrupt in SC interrupts space. However it's
possible to handle them as if all the GPIO interrupts are instead tied
to single GPIO handler, which later decodes GEDR register and
chain-calls next IRQ handler. So split first 11 interrupts into system
part (IRQ_GPIO0_SC - IRQ_GPIO10_SC) which work exactly like the rest of
system controller interrupts and real GPIO interrupts
(IRQ_GPIO0..IRQ_GPIO10). A single handler sa1100_gpio_handler then
decodes and calls next handler.

Pull asm-generic asm/io.h rewrite from Arnd Bergmann:
"While there normally is no reason to have a pull request for
asm-generic but have all changes get merged through whichever tree
needs them, I do have a series for 3.19.
There are two sets of patches that change significant portions of
asm/io.h, and this branch contains both in order to resolve the
conflicts:
- Will Deacon has done a set of patches to ensure that all
architectures define {read,write}{b,w,l,q}_relaxed() functions or
get them by including asm-generic/io.h.
These functions are commonly used on ARM specific drivers to avoid
expensive L2 cache synchronization implied by the normal
{read, write}{b,w,l,q}, but we need to define them on all
architectures in order to share the drivers across architectures
and to enable CONFIG_COMPILE_TEST configurations for them
- Thierry Reding has done an unrelated set of patches that extends
the asm-generic/io.h file to the degree necessary to make it useful
on ARM64 and potentially other architectures"

Both SA1100 framebuffer and PCMCIA drivers require knowledge of cpu
frequency to correctly program timings. Currently they receive timing
information by calling cpufreq_get(0). However if cpu frequency driver
is not enabled (e.g. due to unsupported DRAM chip/board on sa1110)
cpufreq_get(0) returns 0, causing incorrect timings to be programmed.

Add sa1100_handle_irq implementating handle_irq for sa1100 platform.
It is more or less a translation of old assembly code from assembler to
plain C. Also install this irq handler from sa1100_init_irq().

Use gpio-charger driver instead of pda-power: it automatically cares
about used gpio and since collie does not differentiate between usb and
ac chargers, pda-power is an overkill for it.
As a bonus this allows us to remove gpio_to_irq calls from machine init
call - it is fragile. These gpio_to_irq calls will fail if gpios are
registered later, via device driver mechanisms.

MMIO accessors such as readl() and writel() want a void __iomem * for
the address. Update the BSE nanoEngine PCI driver to pass such pointers
instead of unsigned long in preparation to converting ARM to use generic
and more rigidly typed accessors.

Clearing obj-y, obj-m, obj-n, obj- in each Makefile is
a useless habit.
They are non-exported variables; therefore they are always empty
whenever descending into each subdirectory.
(Moreorver, obj-y and obj-m are also set to empty at the beginning
of scripts/Makefile.build)

<mach/memory.h>
The platforms selecting NEED_MACH_MEMORY_H defined the start address of
their physical memory in the respective <mach/memory.h>. With
ARM_PATCH_PHYS_VIRT=y (which is quite common today) this is useless
though because the definition isn't used but determined dynamically.
So remove the definitions from all <mach/memory.h> and provide the
Kconfig symbol PHYS_OFFSET with the respective defaults in case
ARM_PATCH_PHYS_VIRT isn't enabled.
This allows to drop the dependency of PHYS_OFFSET on !NEED_MACH_MEMORY_H
which prevents compiling an integrator nommu-kernel.
(CONFIG_PAGE_OFFSET which has "default PHYS_OFFSET if !MMU" expanded to
"0x" because CONFIG_PHYS_OFFSET doesn't exist as INTEGRATOR selects
NEED_MACH_MEMORY_H.)

Reverts commit d26b17edafc45187c30cae134a5e5429d58ad676
ARM: sa1100: collie.c: fall back to jedec_probe flash detection
Unfortunately the detection was challenged on the defective unit used for tests:
one of the NOR chips did not respond to the CFI query.
Moreover that bad device needed extra delays on erase-suspend/resume cycles.
Tested personally on 3 different units and with feedback of two other users.

Pull ARM SoC cleanups from Arnd Bergmann:
"These cleanup patches are mainly move stuff around and should all be
harmless. They are mainly split out so that other branches can be
based on top to avoid conflicts.
Notable changes are:
- We finally remove all mach/timex.h, after CLOCK_TICK_RATE is no
longer used (Uwe Kleine-König)
- The Qualcomm MSM platform is split out into legacy mach-msm and
new-style mach-qcom, to allow easier maintainance of the new
hardware support without regressions (Kumar Gala)
- A rework of some of the Kconfig logic to simplify multiplatform
support (Rob Herring)
- Samsung Exynos gets closer to supporting multiplatform (Sachin
Kamat and others)
- mach-bcm3528 gets merged into mach-bcm (Stephen Warren)
- at91 gains some common clock framework support (Alexandre Belloni,
Jean-Jacques Hiblot and other French people)"
