2019-05-30treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - rule 152Thomas Gleixner
Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): this program is free software you can redistribute it and or modify it under the terms of the gnu general public license as published by the free software foundation either version 2 of the license or at your option any later version extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-or-later has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 3029 file(s). 2018-02-26ARM: orion5x: Revert commit 4904dbda41c8.David S. Miller
It is not valid for orion5x to use mac_pton(). First of all, the orion5x buffer is not NULL terminated. mac_pton() has no business operating on non-NULL terminated buffers because only the caller can know that this is valid and in what manner it is ok to parse this NULL'less buffer. Second of all, orion5x operates on an __iomem pointer, which cannot be dereferenced using normal C pointer operations. Accesses to such areas much be performed with the proper iomem accessors. 2015-12-07ARM: orion5x: clean up mach/*.h headersArnd Bergmann
This is a simple move of all header files that are no longer included by anything else from the include/mach directory to the platform directory itself as preparation for multiplatform support. The mach/uncompress.h headers are left in place for now, and are mildly modified to be independent of the other headers. They will be removed entirely when ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM gets enabled and they become obsolete. Rather than updating the path names inside of the comments of each header, I delete those comments to avoid having to update them again, should they get moved or copied another time. 2008-09-25[ARM] Orion: prepare for runtime-determined timer tick rateLennert Buytenhek
Currently, orion5x uses a hardcoded timer tick rate of 166 MHz, but the actual timer tick rate varies between different members of the SoC family (and can vary based on strap pin settings). This patch prepares for runtime determination of the timer tick rate. Signed-off-by: Lennert Buytenhek <buytenh@marvell.com>
2008-09-05mv643xx_eth: remove force_phy_addr fieldLennert Buytenhek
Currently, there are two different fields in the mv643xx_eth_platform_data struct that together describe the PHY address -- one field (phy_addr) has the address of the PHY, but if that address is zero, a second field (force_phy_addr) needs to be set to distinguish the actual address zero from a zero due to not having filled in the PHY address explicitly (which should mean 'use the default PHY address'). If we are a bit smarter about the encoding of the phy_addr field, we can avoid the need for a second field -- this patch does that. Signed-off-by: Lennert Buytenhek <buytenh@marvell.com>
