There exist tilt switches that simply report their tilt-state via some gpios. The number and orientation of their axes can vary depending on the switch used and the build of the device. Also two or more one-axis switches could be combined to provide multi-dimensional orientation. One example of a device using such a switch is the family of Qisda ebook readers, where the switch provides information about the landscape / portrait orientation of the device. It also adds information about the mapping between the version reported by the device and the protocol to use. Below you will find an updated version from the original series bunching all patches into one big patch updating broken web addresses that are located in Documentation/* Some of the addresses date as far far back as 1995 etc... so searching became a bit difficult, the best way to deal with these is to use web.archive.org to locate these addresses that are outdated. Now there are also some addresses pointing to .spec files some are located, but some(after searching on the companies site)where still no where to be found.
