2021-04-16dt-bindings: net: qcom,ipa: add firmware-name propertyAlex Elder
Add a new optional firmware-name property to the IPA DT node. It is used only if the modem is not doing early initialization (i.e., if the modem-init property is not present). Its value is the name of the firmware file to use; if it's not specified, a default name ("ipa_fws.mdt") is used. Signed-off-by: Alex Elder <elder@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2021-04-13dt-bindings: net: qcom, ipa: add support for SM8350Alex Elder
Add support for "qcom,sm8350-ipa", which uses IPA v4.9. Use "enum" rather than "oneOf/const ..." to specify compatible strings, as suggested by Rob Herring. Signed-off-by: Alex Elder <elder@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2021-04-12dt-bindings: net: renesas, etheravb: Add additional clocksAdam Ford
The AVB driver assumes there is an external crystal, but it could be clocked by other means. In order to enable a programmable clock, it needs to be added to the clocks list and enabled in the driver. Since there currently only one clock, there is no clock-names list either. Update bindings to add the additional optional clock, and explicitly name both of them. 2021-01-11dt-bindings: Add missing array size constraintsRob Herring
DT properties which can have multiple entries need to specify what the entries are and define how many entries there can be. In the case of only a single entry, just 'maxItems: 1' is sufficient. Add the missing entry constraints. These were found with a modified meta-schema. Unfortunately, there are a few cases where the size constraints are not defined such as common bindings, so the meta-schema can't be part of the normal checks. 2021-01-11dt-bindings: net: dwmac: fix queue priority documentationSeb Laveze
The priority field is not the queue priority (queue priority is fixed) but a bitmask of priorities assigned to this queue. In receive, priorities relate to tagged frames priorities. In transmit, priorities relate to PFC frames. 2021-01-09dt-bindings: net: convert Broadcom Starfighter 2 binding to the json-schemaRafał Miłecki
This helps validating DTS files. Only the current (not deprecated one) binding was converted. Minor changes: 1. Dropped dsa/dsa.txt references 2. Updated node name to match dsa.yaml requirement 3. Fixed 2 typos in examples The new binding was validated using the dt_binding_check. 2021-01-09dt-bindings: net: renesas, etheravb: RZ/G2H needs tx-internal-delay-psGeert Uytterhoeven
The merge resolution of the interaction of commits 307eea32b202864c ("dt-bindings: net: renesas, ravb: Add support for r8a774e1 SoC") and d7adf6331189cbe9 ("dt-bindings: net: renesas, etheravb: Convert to json-schema") missed that "tx-internal-delay-ps" should be a required property on RZ/G2H. 2021-01-07dt-bindings: net: dwmac-meson: use picoseconds for the RGMII RX delayMartin Blumenstingl
Amlogic Meson G12A, G12B and SM1 SoCs have a more advanced RGMII RX delay register which allows picoseconds precision. Deprecate the old "amlogic,rx-delay-ns" in favour of the generic "rx-internal-delay-ps" property. For older SoCs the only known supported values were 0ns and 2ns. The new SoCs have support for RGMII RX delays between 0ps and 3000ps in 200ps steps. Don't carry over the description for the "rx-internal-delay-ps" property and inherit that from ethernet-controller.yaml instead.
