2021-01-22media: dt-bindings: Convert video-interfaces.txt properties to schemasRob Herring
Convert video-interfaces.txt to DT schema. As it contains a mixture of device level and endpoint properties, split it up into 2 schemas. Binding schemas will need to reference both the graph.yaml and video-interfaces.yaml schemas. The exact schema depends on how many ports and endpoints for the binding. A single port with a single endpoint looks similar to this: port: $ref: /schemas/graph.yaml#/$defs/port-base properties: endpoint: $ref: video-interfaces.yaml# unevaluatedProperties: false properties: bus-width: enum: [ 8, 10, 12, 16 ] pclk-sample: true hsync-active: true vsync-active: true required: - bus-width additionalProperties: false Acked-by: Sakari Ailus <sakari.ailus@linux.intel.com> Acked-by: Jacopo Mondi <jacopo@jmondi.org> Acked-by: Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@gmx.de> Acked-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil-cisco@xs4all.nl> Reviewed-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+huawei@kernel.org>

2021-01-11dt-bindings: Add missing array size constraintsRob Herring
DT properties which can have multiple entries need to specify what the entries are and define how many entries there can be. In the case of only a single entry, just 'maxItems: 1' is sufficient. Add the missing entry constraints. These were found with a modified meta-schema. Unfortunately, there are a few cases where the size constraints are not defined such as common bindings, so the meta-schema can't be part of the normal checks. 2020-11-25media: dt-bindings: media: st,stm32-dcmi: add support of BT656 busHugues Fruchet
Add support of BT656 embedded synchronization bus mode in DCMI driver. Add "bus-type" property and make it required so that there is no ambiguity between parallel mode (bus-type=5) and BT656 mode (bus-type=6). BT656 mode allows to save hardware synchro lines hsync & vsync by replacing them with synchro codes embedded in data stream, hence hsync-active & vsync-active properties are useless in this mode. With DCMI, BT656 bus mode is only compatible with 8 bits width data bus.
