2019-09-02Input: bu21013_ts - switch to using standard touchscreen propertiesDmitry Torokhov
This switches the driver over to the standard touchscreen properties for coordinate transformation, while keeping old bindings working as well. Tested-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2019-09-02Input: bu21013_ts - use interrupt from I2C clientDmitry Torokhov
Instead of trying to map INT GPIO to interrupt, let's use one supplied by I2C client. If there is none - bail. This will also allow us to treat INT GPIO as optional, as per the binding. Tested-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2019-09-02Input: bu21013_ts - convert to use GPIO descriptorsLinus Walleij
This driver can use GPIO descriptors rather than GPIO numbers without any problems, convert it. Name the field variables after the actual pins on the chip rather than the "reset" and "touch" names from the devicetree bindings that are vaguely inaccurate. No in-tree users pass GPIO numbers in platform data so drop this. Descriptor tables can be used to get these GPIOs from a board file if need be. 2019-08-09Input: ads7846 - add support for general touchscreen bindingsMarco Felsch
A few vendor specific bindings are now covered by common bindings. Let the driver parse the common bindings to make use of common inverting and swapping mechnism. Aslo make use of touchscreen_report_pos() to ensure the correct inverting-swapping order. The vendor specific properties are used as default (backward compatibility) and gets overwritten by common bindings. 2019-04-03Input: goodix - add regulators suppotJagan Teki
Goodix CTP controllers require AVDD28, VDDIO regulators for power-on sequence. The delay between these regualtor operations as per Power-on Timing from datasheet[1] is 0 (T1 >= 0 usec). So, enable and disable these regulators in proper order using normal regulator functions without any delay in between. 2018-10-11Input: of_touchscreen - add support for touchscreen-min-x|yHans de Goede
Some touchscreens, depending on the firmware and/or the digitizer, report coordinates which never reach 0 along one or both of their axis. This has been seen for example on the Silead touchscreens on a Onda V891w and a Point of View mobii TAB-P800w(v2.0). This commit adds support for touchscreen-min-x and touchscreen-min-y device-properties which can be set to communicate the actual start coordinates (rather then 0,0) to userspace. This commit also drop the "(in pixels)" comment from the documentation of the touchscreen-size-x and touchscreen-size-y properties. The comment suggested that there is a relation between the range of reported coordinates and the display resolution, which is only true for some devices. The "(in pixels)" comment is replaced with "(maximum x coordinate reported + 1)" to mirror the language describing the new touchscreen-min-x and -min-y properties. When set this fixes e.g. not being able to click things in the GNOME3 top-bar on the 2 example tablets. 'interrupt-parent' is often documented as part of define bindings, but it is really outside the scope of a device binding. It's never required in a given node as it is often inherited from a parent node. Or it can be implicit if a parent node is an 'interrupt-controller' node. So remove it from all the binding files. 2018-01-26Input: mms114 - drop platform data and use generic APIsSimon Shields
The MMS114 platform data has no in-tree users, so drop it. Switch to using the standard touchscreen properties via touchscreen_parse_properties(), and move the old DT parsing code to use device_property_*() APIs. Finally, use touchscreen_report_pos to report x/y coordinates and drop the custom x/y inversion code. 2018-01-09Input: silead - add support for capactive home button found on some x86 tabletsHans de Goede
On some x86 tablets with a silead touchscreen the windows logo on the front is a capacitive home button. Touching this button results in a touch with bits 12-15 of the Y coordinates set, while normally only the lower 12 are used. Detect this and report a KEY_LEFTMETA press when this happens. Note for now we only respond to the Y coordinate bits 12-15 containing 0x01, on some tablets *without* a capacative button I've noticed these bits containing 0x04 when crossing the edges of the screen. 2017-12-26dt-bindings: Use lower case hex in unit-addressesRob Herring
DT unit addresses should be lower case hex. Fix all the binding examples. Converted with the following command from Krzysztof Kozlowski: sed -e 's/@\([a-fA-F0-9_-]*\) {/@\L\1 {/' -i $(find Documentation/devicetree/bindings -name '*.txt') Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>

2017-11-10Input: add support for the Samsung S6SY761 touchscreenAndi Shyti
The S6SY761 touchscreen is a capicitive multi-touch controller for mobile use. It's connected with i2c at the address 0x48. This commit provides a basic version of the driver which can handle only initialization, touch events and power states. The controller is controlled by a firmware which, in the version I currently have, doesn't provide all the possible functionalities mentioned in the datasheet. 2017-11-10Input: add support for HiDeep touchscreenAnthony Kim
The HiDeep touchscreen device is a capacitive multi-touch controller mainly for multi-touch supported devices use. It use I2C interface for communication to IC and provide axis X, Y, Z locations for ten finger touch through input event interface to userspace. It support the Crimson and the Lime two type IC. They are different the number of channel supported and FW size. But the working protocol is same. 2017-10-25Input: add I2C attached EETI EXC3000 multi touch driverAhmet Inan
The 3000 series have a new protocol which allows to report up to 5 points in a single 66 byte frame. One must always read in 66 byte frames. To support up to 10 points, two consecutive frames need to be read: The first frame says how many points until sync. The second frame must say zero points or both frames must be discarded. To be able to work with the higher 400KHz I2C bus rate, one must successfully send a special package prior _each_ read or the controller will refuse to cooperate. This is a minimal implementation based on egalax_i2c.c (which can be found on the internet) and egalax_ts.c but without the vendor interface and no power management support.
