2020-10-05dt-bindings: arm: Add missing root node constraint for board/SoC bindingsRob Herring
Board/SoC top-level compatible bindings should be constrained to the root node. Add the missing constraints that the node name must be "/". 2020-07-21dt-bindings: arm: stm32: Add compatibles for syscon nodesBenjamin Gaignard
Since commit ad440432d1f9 ("dt-bindings: mfd: Ensure 'syscon' has a more specific compatible") it is required to provide at least 2 compatibles string for syscon node. This patch document the missing compatibles for stm32 SoCs. 2020-04-16dt-bindings: Clean-up schema indentation formattingRob Herring
Fix various inconsistencies in schema indentation. Most of these are list indentation which should be 2 spaces more than the start of the enclosing keyword. This doesn't matter functionally, but affects running scripts which do transforms on the schema files. 2020-03-31dt-bindings: Add missing 'additionalProperties: false'Rob Herring
Setting 'additionalProperties: false' is frequently omitted, but is important in order to check that there aren't extra undocumented properties in a binding. Ideally, we'd just add this automatically and make this the default, but there's some cases where it doesn't work. For example, if a common schema is referenced, then properties in the common schema aren't part of what's considered for 'additionalProperties'. Also, sometimes there are bus specific properties such as 'spi-max-frequency' that go into bus child nodes, but aren't defined in the child node's schema. So let's stick with the json-schema defined default and add 'additionalProperties: false' where needed. This will be a continual review comment and game of wack-a-mole.
